IMPORTANT: This policy includes a strictly non-refundable deposit and no refunds after team declaration.

Registration & Refund Policy – Edmonton Strikers SC

The Edmonton Strikers Soccer Club is a non-profit organization. Upon registration, the club immediately incurs costs including (but not limited to) league fees, field permits, insurance, administration, and team planning. As such, the following refund policy applies to all registrations.

Non-Refundable Deposit

A $250 deposit is required to secure a player’s spot.

🔴 This deposit is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to withdrawal, schedule conflicts, dissatisfaction, injury (non-medical withdrawal), or a decision to join another club.

Refund Requests Within 3 Days

Refund requests submitted within three (3) days of the original registration date:

The $250 deposit will be retained
Any additional amount paid may be refunded at the sole discretion of the club

Refund Requests After 3 Days (Before Team Declaration)

After three (3) days from the date of registration:

The $250 deposit remains non-refundable
Any remaining balance may be partially refunded at the sole discretion of the club, provided the player withdraws before teams are officially declared

After Teams Are Declared

Once teams are officially declared and rosters are submitted to the league:

🔴 No refunds will be issued under any circumstances

This includes (but is not limited to):

Withdrawal from the program
Non-attendance
Schedule conflicts
Playing time concerns
Dissatisfaction with team placement, coaching decisions, or team environment

Player Withdrawal / Non-Attendance

Failure to attend does not constitute formal withdrawal
No refunds will be issued for players who choose not to participate after registering

Player Transfers

If a player chooses to leave Edmonton Strikers SC to join another club:

🔴 No refund will be issued
The player may be subject to applicable transfer fees as per EMSA regulations

Medical / Injury Exception

Refund requests due to medical reasons:

Must include valid medical documentation
Will be reviewed at the sole discretion of the club
The $250 deposit remains non-refundable

Program Changes / External Factors

No refunds will be issued due to circumstances beyond the club’s control, including but not limited to:

Schedule changes
Field or facility changes
Weather interruptions
League decisions or modifications
Shortened or altered seasons

Refund Request Process

All refund requests must be submitted in writing by email to:

Player name
Team / age group
Reason for withdrawal

Administrative Costs

By registering, families acknowledge that fees collected are used to cover operational and administrative costs already incurred by the club and are not held in reserve.

Agreement

By completing registration and signing this waiver, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the Edmonton Strikers SC Registration & Refund Policy. You understand that this agreement is binding.

CURRENT SOCCER SEASON FEE STRUCTURE:

We are proud to offer top-quality soccer programs for girls and boys at competitive rates. Our goal is to make soccer accessible to all aspiring players without compromising on the quality of coaching and facilities.

Edmonton Strikers Outdoor 2025 Fees

U9 Boys Fees are $550 ($600)

U10-U11 Boys Fees are $675 ($725)
U12-U15 Boys Fees are $850 ($900)

U8-U10 Girls Fees are $550 ($600)

U12-U15 Girls Fees are $675 ($725)

There will be an additional $50 added to the fees if you are a new member and require a training kit.

*No Volunteer Commitment*

Registration fees are used for equipment for coaches, EMSA fees, ASA Fees, Teamsnap fees, game field rentals, referee fees, 1 practice per week, 1 tech session per month and 1 tournament for the season.

Teams needing additional practices or practicing on turf will have a cashcall

If you are in need of financial assistance Edmonton Strikers works with KidSport as well as JumpStart.

Payment Is required upon registration: Payment may be made using Visa, MasterCard, and Debit and installment options are available. No cheque's accepted for deposit or registration fees. If the deposit fee is not paid in full, players cannot be assigned to a team and the player will be unable to practice or play.

If payments are not made or kept up to the pre-arranged installment payment schedule plan, then the club reserves the right to remove participant from team roster making them ineligible to play and keep the initial deposit along with any subsequent payments made, as teams must be declared to EMSA/League and thus payment is required.

Team Kits: For all competitive teams Strikers provides a home and away jersey. This Jersey is to be returned in good and usable condition at the end of each season. At registration, each player must submit a cheque for $100 that will be returned or shredded at the end of each season upon safe return of the jerseys.

Team Structure: Each team will consist of a Coach, Assistant Coach and Team Manager. At the beginning of each season there will be a mandatory parent/guardian meeting to understand and outline team objectives and responsibilities.
