Strikers has changed the trajectory of our son's soccer experience. They've consistently challenged his skills and developed his passion for the game. The coaching is fair and direct. Since my daughter Claire has started training with the Edmonton Strikers Soccer Club (just a couple months ago), her enthusiasm for the game has grown beyond my expectation and she has consistently put in 100% effort at every practice. Coach Terry has been fantastic in nurturing her talent, and it’s evident that her confidence and abilities have flourished under his guidance. My grandson, D,  started playing soccer a little later than most of his friends and after one season with community was fortunate enough to try out and make the Strikers team.  After this slow start, I have been watched him grow and improve tremendously over the last couple of seasons.  He has a natural love of the game and Terry's coaching has brought out the best in him.  D is more confident on and off the field and has made life long friends with his team members.   D tells me that Coach Terry is strict but fair and D works hard to live up to Coach's expectations.  Nothing brings a bigger smile to D's face than praise from the coach.   I also love the fact that the Strikers are so community-minded.  Involvement in the tournaments, bottle drives and BBQs, etc.  helps to build character in the boys and also encourages team building.    They are a family.  I look forward to D having a long and rewarding association with the Strikers.

The Edmonton Strikers Soccer Club has provided a positive learning atmosphere to enrich our child's soccer skills, all while feeling like a family. The coaches genuinely care for the kids and are dedicated to the teams and provide a good support system for the kids to grow and develop. We watched our child's and the whole team's skills noticeably evolve through the season as the kids were trained to become better players and to become more confident in their skills. Having a community league as Strikers Headquarters for the duration of the season was great, and eliminated driving to different fields around the city for practices. Additionally, the club wide events are well put together and enjoyable for the entire family, and an excellent chance for the kids to bond with their teammates in a fun atmosphere. We will not hesitate to stay with this soccer club for future seasons, as it truly feels like home.

Playing for the Strikers brings a great feeling of belonging to a family. The Strikers do very well at planning soccer and community engagement related events where all ages, and all players (from all teams) are welcome and involved. As a result, the coaches are familiar with all of the players, and they are all more than willing to assist in any player's individual development and growth, while also building teams where players are very familiar with each other. As a result, the Strikers teams have a lot of stability in their team's roster and coaching approach every season
